Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met on 26/4/2015 with a delegation of the Union of Arab Banks in the presence of International Cooperation Minister Naglaa Al-Ahwany.
During the meeting, Mahlab voiced support for the Arab Banking Conference that will be held in Cairo. The conference will be held at a critical time following Egypt's economic conference in Sharm Sheikh on March 13-15, Mahlab said. “Our main goal is to create an attractive environment for investments,” Mahlan said. The participants will discuss regulating Arab development assistance and economic and legislative reform in Egypt. The Arab bankers said that Egypt has restored its leading role in the region. They praised recent amendments introduced to investment laws in Egypt and resolving the problems of investors. The amendments have great impact on increasing the investments and attracting investors to the Egyptian market, they added. |
