Forty ships transited the Suez Canal on 4/5/2015, carrying a total cargo of 2.846 million tons.
The south-bound convoy included 30 vessels carrying 2.279 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included five ships carrying 148,000 tons. Meanwhile, a huge Danish containers ship crossed the Suez Canal coming from the Red Sea on way to the Mediterranean. The ship was carrying 18,270 containers, an official navigation source in the Suez Canal said. |
