The figure represents 74.7% of the target of 250,000 million cubic meters, he said.

Meanwhile, executive director of dredging works at the project Wagdy Zaky said Dutch dredging company Van Oord will send its trailing suction hopper dredger "Utrecht", the largest in the world, to arrive on May 27 to join the dredging fleet working in the project. It has a working capacity of 100,000 cubic meters a day, Zaky said.
