The Cabinet, during a meeting on 11/06/2015, has approved a draft law amending Law No. 124/1963 granting the Suez Canal Authority the right to establish joint stock companies.
The draft law was earlier approved by the high committee for legislative reforms. Also, the Cabinet has allocated 6.8 feddans of State-owned lands to be used in power linkage with Saudi Arabia. The power linkage goes through the Red Sea tourist hub of Sharm El-Sheikh. |
