Egypt's Ambassador in New Delhi Hatem Tag Eddin discussed on 15/6/2015 with President of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Jyotsna Suri means of boosting bilateral ties.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the diplomat reviewed the government's efforts to improve the economic conditions in Egypt. He also reviewed the giant projects which are being carried out in Egypt, including the Suez Canal Corridor Development project. He referred to the growth of economic relations between Egypt and India. "The bilateral trade exchange reached 5 billion dollars in 2014 and the Indian investments grew to 2.5 billion dollars," said the diplomat. |
