Head of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Mohab Mamish said on 15/6/2015 that the political leadership decided to start importing machines for digging tunnels under the Suez Canal next October.
He asserted that Egyptian engineers are being trained in Germany to operate the machines. Mamish added that 6 new tunnels will be dug under the Suez Canal, adding that 3 of them are in Ismailia and 3others in Port Said. |
