Jordan's Minister of Finance, Dr. Omeya Togan, has discussed with Bilal Al Bodour, the UAE Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, ways to strengthen financial and investment cooperation between the UAE and Jordan.

While receiving the UAE ambassador, the Jordanian minister thanked the UAE for its continuous support to his country, which enabled it to implement a number of important development projects. He added that such projects had reduced the balance sheet deficit amid the economic difficulties faced by Jordan, which bears the burden of hosting refugees flowing in from neighbouring countries.

On his part, the UAE envoy stressed the directives of the UAE leadership to boost ties with Jordan in all fields, citing continuous coordination and distinguished relations between the two countries, especially in the areas of finance and investment.
