Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Mounir Fakhry Abdel-Nour said that the visit to be paid by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to China, the world third largest economy, aims at following up files of political and economic cooperation between the two countries.
In statements to “Al-Ahram” newspaper on 29/08/2015, Abdel-Nour said that the Chinese government is keen to develop its economic relations with Egypt. Abdel-Nour noted that the two sides will sign several agreements topped by the official signing of the framework agreement, which was signed by the initial letters in Cairo last February, regarding the implementation of 14 projects with investment value reaching more than USD 10 billion. The Minister explained that President Sisi will also attend the signing ceremony of a number of agreements topped by the agreement between the China Development Bank and the National Bank of Egypt to provide a loan at a value of USD 100 million to finance small scale projects. |
