President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted, 1/9/2015 that Egypt welcomes serious investments that depend on human development (HRD) and technology transfer for achieving economic goals.
Presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef said the President made the remarks during a meeting with Chairwoman of Huawei's Board of Directors Sun Yafang. Yousef added during the meeting, President Sisi reviewed 'Seeds for the Future' program which is being carried out by the Chinese company in cooperation with Egypt's Ministry Of Communication & Information Technology. The program provides training courses for fresh information technology graduates on the cutting edge technologies, the spokesman added. Yousef said that they discussed efforts exerted to expand Huawei's business in Egypt in new development projects. The meeting was attended by the ministers of industry and electricity along with senior officials in the Chinese industry. |
