Petroleum Minister Tarek al-Molla held expanded talks with EDF Energy Company chairman and CEO Jean-Bernard who was part of the delegation of the French premier during a Cairo visit.
The minister pointed out that the talks with the heads of international companies working in Egypt come within the framework of the government's efforts to back partnership and cooperation with these companies and increase their investments in Egypt in the coming period. He added that a new project, currently being carried out with $220 million for producing natural gas in Abou Qeer, was discussed. |
