The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices closed on 2/11/2015 up backed by purchases by institutions and Arab and foreign investment funds.
The market capital achieved gains worth about 600 million pounds to reach 449 billion pounds, after transactions hit 1.3 billion pounds. The EGX-30-benchmark-index leapfrogged by 0.29 per cent to close at 7,434.69 points. The broader EGX-70-index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) rose by 0.25 per cent to 391.19 points. The all-embracing-EGX-100-index also increased by 0.19 per cent to close at 844.85 points. |
