President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said Egypt should continue economic reforms.
The remark was made at a meeting with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr and Trade Minister Tarek Qabil, said Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef. Sisi added that economic reforms will contribute to redressing budget deficit and increasing State revenues, according to the spokesman. These efforts are being maintained as Egypt will get loans to the value of eight billion dollars within the coming five years from international bodies to achieve major changes. Sisi underlined the importance of developing Upper Egypt governorates, meeting governorates' needs, securing jobs and improving the standards of living. The president also called for establishing new industrial zones, added the spokesman. The presidential spokesman said the meeting also reviewed ongoing contacts with Arab funds to bankroll investment and development projects, especially in Sinai and border areas. |
