Budget of Sultanate of Oman will see a deficit of USD 8.58 billion in 2016, Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs Darwish bin Ismail Al Balushi revealed.
Total revenue this year is estimated at USD 22.3 billion, while expenditure is evaluated at USD 30.9 billion, he said in a statement to the Oman News Agency (ONA). He added that the budget deficit this year will hit USD 8.5 billion compared with USD 11.7 billion in 2015. He said that the Ministry of Finance would issue a detailed data on the State's budget later on. |
