The Department of Economic Development of Ras Al Khaimah, is planning to launch an electronic business guide for companies and investors in April to promote the emirate globally as a business destination.
Director-General of the department, Abdulrahman Al Naqbi, made the announcement at a ceremony to honour staff members. In a presentation, he noted that the emirate's 2015-2017 strategic plan will make a qualitative leap in the level of services being provided by the department. Al Naqbi said that the department has so far launched 39 strategic initiatives and 32 community initiatives. More initiatives to promote reading will be launched in 2016. At the ceremony, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development of Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Mohammed bin Kayed Al Qasimi, honoured 18 employees who presented the best innovative proposals for development in December. |
