The Foreign Ministries of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Turkmenistan on Wednesday signed an executive program for bilateral cooperation, guided by the Memorandum of Consultations (MOC) signed by the two sides in Doha in October 2010.
The program was signed for the Qatari side by HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi and for the Republic of Turkmenistan by First Deputy Foreign Minister, Wafa Khadzhiev. The program stipulates undertaking various activities over 2016 - 2017 including: To hold consultations on bilateral topics, at the level of foreign ministers or their representatives, heads of departments or their representatives from the two Foreign Ministries on means of developing bilateral relations between the two countries, working within the framework of international organizations and the United Nations action with respect to matters listed on the agenda of the 71th Session of the UN General Assembly, cooperating in the field of trade and economy and consulting on consular affairs, in addition to a number of issues of common interest between the two countries. |
