The Qatar Development Fund (QDF) signed a $90 million grant agreement with the Swaziland Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade represented in the Internet led e-commerce (Traders-Link) project .
The signing ceremony was attended by the Swaziland Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Gideon Dlamini and representative of Swazi Traders -Link Project Fareed Engeri. In his speech on the occasion, HE Qatar's Ambassador in Mbabane Yousef bin Mohammed Al Mahmoud said that we are proud to be the excellent sponsors for the Swazi Traders -Link Project. He added that this support constitutes a core for collaboration and partnership to open markets for small and medium-sized enterprises in Swaziland , hoping the project will lead to achieve the desired interest in order to reduce poverty and unemployment rates in the country. For his part, the Swaziland Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade expressed thanks to the State of Qatar's leadership, government and people, adding that this project will have a deep impact in supporting small and medium enterprises in Swaziland. |
