Prime Minister Sharif Ismail said that the government is keen on restructuring the tax system from all legislative and administrative aspects.
The remarks were made during a Cabinet meeting to discuss tax-related issues, said Spokesman for the Cabinet Hossam al-Qawesh. Present at the meeting were Minister of Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, Minister of Finance and President of State Council. Ismail directed to count all tax issues, whether in courts or at tax authority and find a way to resolve them. He asked to activate the reconciliation committees at the Ministry of Finance to resolve further tax issues, demanding the finance ministry to continuously follow up these committees. |
