PM Sherif Ismail held a meeting to follow-up on the special procedures to get ready to start the experimental sewage treatment (9n) in Alexandria, in the presence of the ministers of housing, environment, local development and irrigation.
During the meeting, there was a revision on the current position of the station of sewage treatment (9N), the prime minister confirmed the rapid completion of all procedures relating to get ready for the start of the experimental operation of the project, including work on the use of an alternative route for the transfer of the mother-in-law, including taking into account the lack of passing by Keitas's the neighboring village of the station, stressing the need to take all necessary measures in terms of health and environmental impacts. Ambassador Hussam Al Kawesh said that the prime minister had made a phone call to the Governor of Alexandria to be reassured about the measures taken on the follow-up of the final position of the preparations for the trial operation (station 9N), as mandated to provide all the health services necessary for the neighboring areas, the continuation of a medical survey. It should be noted that the sewage treatment (9n) work on the compilation of sludge from 18 a sanitary drainage station in Alexandria, and receives about 600 tons daily, and 300M3 waste of those stations, established for the purpose of getting rid of the Security Council of sludge, protection of the beaches and Lakes of pollution, owing to the lack of space to store sludge of 18 stations 18 because they occurred in the heart of the population blocs in Alexandria. |
