Engineer Sherif Ismail, chairman of the council of ministers decided to start the implementation of the draft duplication of Qena Sohag Western Desert along 140 km, the cost is estimated at 350 million pounds, This came during the meeting held, on follow-up of the suspended projects that is being implemented in the governorates of Aswan, Qena, Luxor, in the presence of the ministers of planning and housing, local development, agriculture, transport, tourism, and the governors of Qena, Luxor, Aswan.
The prime minister stressed during the meeting that the Government attaches the utmost importance to the service projects and development which is being implemented for Upper Egypt governorates, especially the projects of positive impact on the citizens and direct interest to them. The prime minister noted that this meeting is the beginning of a series of meetings to be held during the coming period with the conservatives to review the executive position of the projects to be implemented on the ground , ongoing and postponed projects to take effective measures to enter those projects into implementation. It was decided during the meeting, monitoring 800 million pounds to finish implementation of 43 thousand residential units at the level of the Republic . During the meeting, the governors of Qena, Luxor, Aswan, gave an integrated report on the most important projects that are implemented on the ground, the executive position of each individual project, financial needs required for completion, as well as administrative obstacles. With regard to projects in Luxor governorate, the completion of drinking water projects in each of the water station ISNA, Tanks of Armant, water station Qurnah, water station of Al Baghdadi. The prime minister assured the Minister of Education of exploiting the allocation decisions issued by maintaining the establishment of separate schools in the governorate of Luxor, the meeting also reviewed the special position of plotting the amounts needed to complete the work of developing Elkabbach way, as well as the development of the temple of Esna. With regard to the projects of Aswan Governorate, the meeting reviewed the special procedures for implementation of the draft social housing that is being implemented , which includes 7752 housing units, to be completed by 0630/2016, was also reviewed the executive position of the draft replacement and renovation and processing stations to 1 to 2. With regard to the projects, Qena Governorate, the governor reviewed the special projects in roads, including Qena/Luxor desert along the 270 km, the prime minister in this regard assured to study the implementation of this project, the governor of Qana also reviewed the executive position of the draft social housing, as well as water and sanitary drainage projects within the governorate. |
