German-Arab Chamber for Trade and Industry CEO Rainer Herret has asserted that Egypt has a successful glass industry, urging Egyptian companies to partake in an international glass trade fair to be held in Düsseldorf of Germany.
The gathering, scheduled on next September 20-23, lures up-to-date technologies and equipment in glass production, Herret told a symposium held by the chamber in Cairo. Glasstech ranks first in the world, he said, adding that 1,200 exhibitors are expected to be present. In 2014, the fair attracted 43,000 visitors, he noted. Egypt is safe for foreign investments, Herret stressed. |
