 International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr received Dutch Ambassador in Cairo Gerard Stiggs where they discussed means of boosting future joint cooperation between Egypt and the Netherlands.
During the meeting, Nasr welcomed the Dutch ambassador stressing the developmental relations binding the two countries. She expressed Egypt's interest in making use of the Dutch expertise in the agriculture field especially in establishing greenhouses. She pointed out to the directives of President Abdul Fattah el Sisi to give a due attention to the agriculture as a cornerstone of the national economy. The pair have agreed that a Dutch delegation of experts will visit Egypt in July to study the best locations in Egypt to establish up to 1,000 greenhouses in an area of 40,000 feddans. |
