 President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has stressed the importance of upgrading the Suez Canal Authority (SCA), which he called a vital facility of international trade movement.
Sisi, at a meeting with SCA chairman Mohab Mamish , praised efforts exerted to upgrade the performance of the authority. Mamish submitted a report to Sisi on SCA activities to attract as many number of ships as possible to cross the Suez Canal, presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said. Mamish told Sisi that the New Suez Canal has expedited the crossing of ships, Youssef said. He also posted the president on training programs offered to SCA employees, the spokesman added. Sisi was pleased with efforts exerted by the SCA and urged that action be taken to further hone skills of the employees, Youssef said. |
