Iran's Kian Petrochemical Company and German chemical giant Linde Group have signed a contract for cooperation in the petrochemical industry.
Linde desires to cooperate with Iran in the framework of the contract, Deputy Minister of Petroleum for Petrochemical Affairs Marzieh Shahdaie said , on the sidelines of signing the contract. She added that Linde is to commission one of the important petrochemical projects in phase II of Assalouyeh. She expressed her pleasure with the return of foreign companies to invest in Iran after reaching the nuclear deal with the world powers last year. She indicated that Linde left Iran at the time of sanctions and that time it was not a signatory to any contract. The deal aims to provide technology and designs for obtaining technical savvy for the construction of an olefin, butadiene, hydrodealkylation and benzene unit. |
