 Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr received a delegation of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) led by Mohamed El-Saaty, the Adviser to Bank Vice President. They discussed scopes of future joint cooperation between Egypt and the IDB.
During the meeting, Nasr appreciated efforts of IDB in supporting development in Egypt. She discussed means of enhancing cooperation between Egypt and the Bank which contributes to funding several projects in Egypt at a total value of USD 2.3 billion. The two sides also discussed the current preparations for a new cooperation strategy between Egypt and IDB, where financing the development of Sinai comes on top of this strategy. The minister explained that this new strategy comes after the House of Representatives approved the program of the government. |
