 Prime Minister Sherif Ismail held a meeting with officials of the Egyptian Company for Agricultural and Rural Development to follow up progress realized so far regarding the reclamation of the 1.5 million feddans.
Cabinet Spokesman Hossam Qaweesh said that the project is one of the most important development projects in Egypt. Major companies are expected to contribute to the project alongside medium-sized firms and individuals, he said. The project will realize comprehensive development in the desert area away from the Delta, he said. During the meeting, the company's board chairman presented a report on progress realized so far in the project, as well as the company's plans for the coming period. |
