 Deputy Minister of Finance Ahmed Kojak has represented Egypt as a guest of honor in an international conference in South Africa giving a brief about Egypt’s program of the economic reform.
Addressing the business conference that was held in Cape Town, the deputy minister said the government’s plan depends on three axes to reform economy in Egypt. The first one covers the country’s financial and banking policy in addition to coordinating these factors. According to the deputy minister, the second axis is measures adopted by the government to enhance the industrial sector, while the third one is about developing effective social networks to help the low-income people. The conference was attended by more than 20 representatives of international and regional investors. On the sidelines, Kojak held meetings with representatives of South African investment banks and funds to discuss investments in Egypt. They welcomed the deal inked by Cairo and the International Monitory Fund (IMF) under which Egypt will receive assistance and support to carry out its reform plan. |
