 Egypt's exports to Arab countries stood at USD 907.5 million in May against USD 799.1 million in May 2015, while imports from the Arab world declined during the same period to reach USD 621.4 million, compared with USD 882 million.
Egypt's exports to the UAE increased during the same period to hit USD 270.5 million, against USD 114.6 million during this period, while imports reached USD 52.1 million in May compared with USD 112.3 million in the same month in 2014, according to a monthly bulletin released by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS). Meanwhile, Egyptian exports to Saudi Arab went down to stand at USD 194 million in May versus USD 209 million in the same month in 2015, while imports reduced to hit USD 303.7 million in May, compared with USD 344 million in the same period, according to CAPMAS. |
