A delegation from the EU Commission in Cairo discussed at a seminar 2016 the necessary reforms needed to improve the access to finances to the medium, small and micro projects in Egypt.
Policy makers at the Trade and Industry Ministry, Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority, and General Authority For Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) took part in the seminar along with other participants from financial institutions such as the Export Credit Guarantee Company of Egypt (ECGC), Nile Stock Exchange (NILEX), Beltone Financial and others. During the seminar, around 50 participants and experts discussed ways of overcoming obstacles and challenges that hamper accessing to the finances to medium, small and micro projects in Egypt, along with enhancing the development benefits of the new initiatives adopted by the CBE. |
