 Meetings of the third round of the Egyptian-South African committee and the second forum of businessmen of the two countries concluded in Cairo.
The three-day meetings were held under the auspices of Egypt's Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil. They were attended by representatives of private companies and joint technical action groups in the fields of industry, investment, agriculture and infrastructure. "Negotiations on a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and its South African counterpart have been finalized," Undersecretary of the Trade and Industry Ministry Saeed Abdallah said. "The South African side will sign the memo and send it to the Egyptian side to be inked here," the official added. Another memo in the field of infrastructure will be also signed in the first half of 2017, he said. |
