Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Essam Fayed inspected the 18th edition of Russian Agricultural Exhibition "Golden Autumn," at an invitation by his Russian counterpart.
Fayed praised efforts exerted by Russia to organize the international trade fair. Fayed said the exhibition has various pavilions and displays foodstuffs, animal, poultry and fishery products along with different industries and agricultural machinery and equipment. The Egyptian official said the exhibition is the biggest worldwide in all areas pertaining to agricultural, animal and fishery production. "Golden Autumn" is held annually by Russia and is timed to celebrate the Day of the agriculture and processing industry. Organizer of the exhibition is the Russian Ministry of Agriculture. A big number of major agricultural companies worldwide take part in the exhibition. Meanwhile, Fayed met with the head of the Russian federation for retail traders and importers and the director of foreign relations at the federation. During the meeting, an agreement was reached to adopt a program to expand the exportation of Egyptian agricultural products to the Russian market. The program will be officially signed by the Egyptian and Russian sides in the coming two weeks. |
