Kuwait's Ambassador to Iraq Salem Ghassab Al-Zamanan expressed hope that Kuwaiti companies' various investments help to revive economy's infrastructure in Iraq's Kurdistan region.
Kuwait is keen on increasing its investments in Iraqi Kurdistan, in addition to boosting ties with the region in all fields, the Kuwaiti diplomat told KUNA Sunday after his meeting with Prime Minister of Iraqi Kurdistan Nechervan Barzani. He praised the region's people for hosting a large number of local refugees despite terrorist threats and harsh economic conditions, he said. Al-Zamanan also pointed out discussions he has held with Iraqi Kurdistan's officials in the past days, that included the region's political situations in general, subjects of mutual interest, and ways to exit political and economic crisis with least harms and damages. |
