Etisalat and On Time Group signed the memo of understanding (MoU) aimed at assisting new small and medium enterprises to kick-start their operations in the UAE.
Etisalat’s Hello Business, launched in 2015, is an on-boarding programme to help new businesses set up their operations and grow in the UAE. The Etisalat and On Time Group partnership will see an expansion in the accessibility of telecommunications services for new businesses in their critical start-up period. With this agreement, new businesses can visit Etisalat counters available at On Time Group service centres in Oud Metha, Business Village and other planned locations in the coming months. The group of companies under On Time Group (14 in total) has assisted a variety of businesses to set up and run companies across different locations in the UAE. Esam Mahmoud, Vice President SMB Marketing, Etisalat, said, "Etisalat is committed to developing the UAE’s SMB sector and empowering businesses with all their telecommunications needs; offering simple, value-for-money and unique propositions to help them compete in the global market. Our Hello Business programme is a set of comprehensive initiatives by Etisalat and our partners to ease the set-up and growth challenges. We are pleased to be in partnership with On Time to leverage their expertise and provide incremental value to the business community." Walid bin Abdul Karim, chief executive officer, On Time Group, said, "We are delighted to be forging this strategic alliance with Etisalat, one of the largest and most successful corporates in the region, and a true pioneer in the field of telecommunications. Like Etisalat, On Time is also fully committed to providing new businesses with high quality services and customised solutions through our integrated business model under group of companies to accelerate the growth of small and medium businesses, and to contribute toward the UAE economy." |
