Egypt's Horticultural Export Improvement Association signed a memo with a key Shangahai company working in vegetables and fruits domain, Egyptian Consul in Shanghai Khaled Youssef said.
Under the memo, Egyptian horticultural products, especially citrus, would be distributed across Shanghai markets, Youssef said in statements to MENA. The memo would boost Egypt's agro-exports to China as Shanghai is the biggest market for imported agricultural products, he said. A protocol is being prepared to export Egyptian grapes to China for the first time, he said. The memo was signed on the fringe of iFresh China International Fruit and Vegetable Expo. About 10 Egyptian companies are taking part in the event - the most important agricultural exhibition in China. |
