Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi arrived in Uganda for a one-day official visit at the invitation of President Yoweri Museveni.
The Egyptian president is accompanied by an official trade delegation to discuss boosting trade relations between the two African countries. The two leaders are set to hold a press conference after their meeting at the presidential palace in capital Antebe. Egyptian investors in the Nile-basin Uganda include Cairo International Bank, EgyptAir, and Mantrac Uganda Ltd. The Egyptian Arab Contractors Company is executing several development projects in Uganda with a total value of USD 25 million. |
