 Prime Minister Sherif Ismail reviewed a detailed report on the first phase of a giant land reclamation project.
This came at a meeting with Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel Aati, the chairman of The Egyptian Reef Company and representatives for the bodies concerned with the project on the reclamation of 1.5 million feddans. During the meeting, the prime minister was posted on the main irrigation methods adopted for the project. Ismail highlighted the importance of the project at the current stage, noting that it is expected to increase arable land by 20 percent. |
