 The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) continued its upward trend at the close of trading.
The market capital increased from 6.2 billion pounds to 608.3 billion pounds at the close of trading. The benchmark index EGX 30 went up by 1.8 percent to close 12,366.96 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.23 percent to 462.19 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index followed suit with 0.33 percent taking the index up to 1,097.32 points. |
