 The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said that money transfers by Egyptians abroad rose 500 million dollars to reach 4.6 billion dollars in the fourth quarter of 2016, compared to 4.1 billion dollars a year-on-year, an increase of 11.8 percent.
The total transfers by Egyptians abroad in December 2016 went up 15.4 percent to 1.6 billion dollars compared to 1.4 billion dollars a year-on-year, the CBE said in a statement. |
