The United Ahli Bank posted net earnings at KD 40.3 million (25.9 fils per share) in 2016, compared to KD 42.8 million (27.4 fps) in 2015, it said.
Shareholders' equity amounted, last year, to some KD 385 million, in contrast to KD 356.1 million in 2015. Overall assets reached KD 3.69 billion against liabilities amounting to KD 3.24 billion (2016), as compared to KD 3.54 billion worth of liabilities in 2015. The bank, established in 1971, was enlisted by the Kuwaiti bourse in 1984, with a paid-up capital of KD 173.2 million. It is involved in banking, funding and investment transactions and operations, in line with the Islamic Sharia (law). (USD=KD 0.304). |
