President Abdel Fattah El Sisi gave his directives to implement a different administrative model in the new cities via uprooting bureaucracy and adopting flexibility in dealing with investors and citizens to achieve rapid development rates in these regions and make it a model for other new ventures being implemented nationwide.
He stressed also the importance of abiding by the timetable of implementing the venture of roads and main axes and developing the existing ones to alleviate the traffic congestion. These remarks came during the meeting held between Sisi and Housing Minister Moustafa Madboli. Sisi was briefed about the project of developing sanitation stations of Kima 1 and 2 in Aswan, said presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef. Madboli underlined that his ministry is committed to finalizing this venture by the end of March. The minister further said that a new station, namely Kima 3, will be also built with a capacity that reaches 30,000 cubic meters daily, adding that it will be finalized by the end of 2017. Madboli also briefed the president about the steps taken to inaugurate a number of drinking water stations in Qalubiya and Sharqia governorates as well as 111 similar ventures in the Upper Egyptian governorates to be implemented in 231 villages with a total cost of 18.3 billion pounds. The president was posted on social housing projects where Madboli said that the total new housing units have reached 544,000 ones. Sisi stressed the importance of upgrading the livelihood of citizens in these regions and study their economic and social conditions in a scientific way. |
