 The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes recorded collective gains at the close of trading, amid expectations of an upcoming short period of profit-taking and restructuring financial portfolios of investors.
The market capital achieved gains hitting EGP 4 billion to reach EGP 620.6 billion, after transactions surpassed EGP 1.6 billion The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 0.43 percent to 12,677.55 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.58 percent to hit 496.91 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose as well by 0.68 percent to close at 1,195.33 points. |
