The government's financial and economic reform manifesto tops the agenda for deliberations in the upcoming parliament session next
Also during the session, the parliament is scheduled to have a second vote on a draft bill to establish a portfolio by Industrial Bank of Kuwait to finance Kuwaiti craftsmanship activity and small enterprises. The parliament approved the draft bill during the previous session. The parliament will also look into a report by the interior and defense committee on amendments on the police law. The agenda also includes discussing the formation of an ad hoc committee to address the imbalance in population structure, with the final report to be submitted on March 30. Furthermore the government's five-year plan (2016-2017 to 2019-2020) on sustainable development is set to be discussed. Deliberation will also include ratifications on agreements between the State of Kuwait and NATO, the Kyrgyz Republic and the People's Republic of Bangladesh. |
