Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouly said Egypt seeks to use nanotechnology in the construction domain as this would develop construction methods.
Addressing the 9th International Conference on Nanotechnology in Construction (NTC 2017) in Egypt, the minister hailed the role played by the Housing and Building National Research Center (HBRC) in gearing up for the international event in tandem with the Egyptian-Russian University. The conference aims at spreading the use of nanotechnology in the construction domain, he said, noting that this would lead to cutting construction cost. the Minister said the conference tackled some construction industries which pollute the environment, noting that this represents a major challenge in the current period. He underlined the necessity of protecting national resources through the application of nanotechnology.
