 World Bank Executive Director Merza Hassan said Egypt is a strategic partner to the bank.
Hassan made the remarks during a meeting with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr. The WB official highlighted the bank’s keenness on supporting efforts exerted by the Egyptian government to achieve sustainable development. He hailed the huge investment potentials in Egypt, stressing the importance of the private sector’s role in the development process. Ismail said the government has taken hard economic decisions to provide an attractive environment for local and foreign investments. The prime minister asserted that the Egyptian government is keen on adopting comprehensive reform measures in different fields. |
