 The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gained six billion pounds at the end of trading amid purchase operations by Arab and foreign investors.
The EGX 30 benchmark index upped by 1.56 percent to reach 13,264.75 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SMEs) also increased by 1.2 percent to reach 579.6 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose by 1.04 percent to reach 1348.01 points. |
