The Iraqi capital Baghdad is keen on attracting Kuwaiti business personnel and companies to invest Iraq, said Kuwait's Ambassador to the fellow Arab country Salem Al-Zamnan.
This affirmation came during Al-Zamnan's meeting with governor of Baghdad Atwan Al-Atwani Speaking to KUNA, Al-Zamnan affirmed that the meeting with the governor focused on efforts to boost economic and financial cooperation between Kuwait and Iraq, adding that the Iraqi official expressed his eagerness to promote ties between the two nations. Al-Zamnan added that Al-Atwan displayed his country's solid resolve to overcome security challenges created by the so-called Islamic State (IS) in Iraq, affirming that the government in Baghdad will work with other partners and countries to eliminate this terrorist threat. |
