 International Cooperation and Investment Minister Sahar Nasr opened the conference on Youth and Employment in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The conference is sponsored by the Ministry of Investment and International cooperation, the Center for Mediterranean Integration (CMI), World Bank (WB), the French Development Agency, Anna Lindh Foundation and the Mediterranean Universities Union. The conference is attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Khalid Abdul Aziz, Minister of Manpower, Mohamed Safan, World Bank Country Director in Egypt, Asad Alam, Minister of Vocational Training and Employment of Tunisia, Amad Al Hamami, as well as representatives of governments in the Middle East and North Africa and young entrepreneurs. The two-day conference aims to develop solutions to help young people acquire job opportunities, entrepreneurship and new skills . Nasr stressed that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi launched many initiatives to support youth, adding that president Sisi is always keen to meet the young people of Egypt. |
