Transportation Minister Hisham Arafat discussed with the head of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Mohab Mamish promoting cooperation between the Transportation Ministry and the SCA as well as the Suez Canal economic zone (SCzone).
In a statement issued, the Transportation Ministry said that the meeting tackled a plan to achieve integration among all ports in Egypt. Arafat said his ministry seeks developing all ports to boost the national economy. They also discussed controlling marine pollution, a project to upgrade Arish harbor in North Sinai and plans to establish new harbors in western Egypt, according to the statement. |
