 Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr stressed that the memos signed between Egypt and Vietnam will be swiftly put into effect.
Addressing the Egyptian-Vietnamese business forum in Hanoi, Nasr said she is looking forward to exchanging expertise between Egypt and Vietnam and opening investment vistas, said a statement issued by the Investment and International Cooperation Ministry President Abdel Fattah El Sisi witnessed the inking of the memos during the fifth joint committee meeting. The two countries signed three memos for encouraging investments, one for fish farming and one for establishing and managing harbors and economic zones. She added that serious steps were taken to promote economic cooperation between the two countries in view of the agreements reached during Sisi's visit to Vietnam. Sisi is the first Egyptian president to visit Vietnam to give a fillip to bilateral ties. She said there is huge investment opportunities in the new administrative capital and new Alamein city. She added that the new investment map will secure more than 600 investment opportunities in various Egyptian governorates, citing the package of incentives offered under the new investment law. |
