Planning Minister Hala el Saeid said a comprehensive development vision will be implemented in Sinai in the coming stage.
The peninsula is in need of more educational services, with focus on building universities and youth centers, Saeid said following a meeting with acting prime minister Moustafa Madbouly. A statement by the Planning Ministry quoted her as stating that the growth rate achieved during the first quarter of 2017-2108 reached 5.2 percent compared to 3.4 percent during the same period of the last fiscal year. Those are the best rates since 2012, the minister said, noting that this is the outcome of economic reform measures taken by the government. |
