Kuwaiti Ambassador to Romania Talal Al-Hajri said he had called on Romanian authorities to exert further efforts to search for missing Kuwaiti citizen Mohammad Al-Baghli, during his meeting with Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
During their meeting, the Romanian minister Teodor Melescanu said his country is still running investigations in search for the Kuwaiti citizen who went missing in 2015, Al-Hajri told KUNA . The Romanian official also said that Kuwait is a strategic partner to his country. The Kuwaiti ambassador added that they had also discussed topics of mutual concern, including boosting economic and trade cooperation. The two sides discussed organizing a joint economic forum and encourage exchanging visits between Kuwaiti and Romanian businessmen. The meeting also agreed on cooperation in animal wealth as part of food security projects, Al-Hajri said. Meanwhile, Al-Hajri said that Melescanu told him that Romania is counting on the support of Kuwait and other countries to receive a membership in the UN Security Council for the term 2020-2021, after Kuwait's membership ends. |
